The office will be closed Sept 4,2023 in observance of Labor Day!
Due to the rising cost and inflation, the City of Glendale will be raising the utility rates effective September 1, 2023. You will see the increase on your October 1, 2023 utility bill. The City staff works diligently to keep cost down so that the rates remain as low as possible. Due to rising cost of materials and inflation, the new base rate will be: 126.00 base rate, 74.80 for water only accounts and 80.70 for sewer only accounts.
School started Monday, August 28. Please remember to watch out for the kids walking to and from school. Also, please be mindful of the buses as they make frequent stops to pick up and drop off the kids. Fall sports is in full swing, look for schedules around town or on the websites and Facebook pages.
The CCVCA City Wide Yard Sale was on Saturday August 12th. Thank you to all that participated. CCVCA’s food booth was yummy as usual and all the people in town was a great site to see. It was a great turn out!
You may have seen all the Fir Point kids around town last month. There were approximately 100 kids that went around town picking up garbage. They come every year to do some community service. We appreciate them very much and it is always fun to have all the kids here. Thank You Fir Point and Kids.
